Sahasra (1000) Suvasini Puja was held with the blessings of His Holiness Pujya Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal and His Holiness Pujya Shri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal at Hemamalini Kalyana Mandapam on the occasion of the 122nd Jayanthi Celebrations of HH Pujyashri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Mahaswamigal.

His Holiness mentioned in the Anugraha Bhashanam that being Tuesday and Pournami (Full-moon day), it was appropriate to perform the Suvasini Puja as part of the Jayanti Mahotsavam of HH Pujyashri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Mahaswamigal.
