Visit to Cheruru Gadda Shiva Temple

His Holiness Pujya Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal & His Holiness Pujya Shri Shankara Vijayendra His Holiness Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal visited Parashurama Pratishthapita Ramalingeshwara Swamy temple atop a hill in Cheruvu Gadda town about 10kms ahead of Nalgonda town. Generally a Shiva temple atop a hill is a rare phenomena, as compared to temples for Subrahmanya Swamy & Narasimha Swamy. Also the shrine is located inside a cave.
The temple authorities received His Holiness on the National Highway near the gateway arch to the temple. The road to the temple is about 4 kms distance from the National highway. Being a Karthika month, special pujas & harathi were performed in the shrine.
His Holiness then gave Anugraha Bhashanam and blessed the gathering. Local purohit sangham members were felicitated.
