His Holiness Pujya Shri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal visited Mandapeta village about 40kms from Kakinada to bless renovation of Sri Vinayaka, Karthikeya Swamy temple. His Holiness blessed the ongoing works for a speedy completion. His Holiness delivered Anugraha Bhashanam. Focussing on the word "Mandapa" His Holiness told about various beautiful & historical Mandapams prevalent in India and wondered if the village was named after the word Mandapa since there was a huge pond and Mandapa in the midst of the town. His Holiness also stressed that Mandapams in ancient times would be open for everyone and would never allow anyone to go with hunger & thirst and said that one should always imbibe such qualities towards Atithis and respected ones..
