Vyasa Puja performed- 16 July 2019
HH Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal performed Vyasa Puja on Guru Poornima -16 July 2019 at Aastika Samajam, Venus Colony, Chennai. Prasadam from various temples were offered to Pujyashri Acharyal.
Earlier this morning, His Holiness performed the Nitya Chandramouleeswara Puja. The Pournami Puja took place later in the evening followed by observance of Chandra Grahanam (Lunar eclipse) in the early hours of 17 July 2019.
17 July - His Holiness will perform the Punah Puja (of Vyasa Puja) and then bless the devotees with Mantrakshatha Prasadam.
The Chaturmasya Vratam commences today, and will conclude on 14 Sep. 209 with Viswaroopa Yatra. Several spiritual and cultural programmes will be held during the Chaturmasyam. The annual Angihotra Sadas, Advaita Vedanta Sadas, Veda Vidwat Sadas, Nitya Veda Parayanam, discourses and musical concerts will be held.
