Srimatam starts Veda Patasala at Pune

With the blessings of Their Holinesses Pujyasri Shankaracharya Swamijis of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Sri Adya Sankara Mandir, Sarasbaug, Pune has commenced a Veda Patala. The Veda Patasala was inaugurated on 18 May 2010 and is named as SRI KANCHI KAMAKOTI PEETAM SRI VEDA VYAS GURUKUL. About eight Vidyarthis have joined the Patasala immediately. Initially, the Patasala is offering studies in Rig Veda. It is envisaged to expand the Patasala to all the branches of Vedas and higher education like Ghana, Veda Bhashya, Brahmana, Upanishads, Shadanga etc. Sri. V. Ramu, Managing Trustee of Sri Adya Sankara Mandir, Pune, is managing the patasala and can be contacted on Tel 020-25435900 or Mob. 98220 96825.
