The presiding deity of the temple is Sri Balaji and Sri Padmavathi. In addition, there is a shrine to Sri Mahaganapathi. The temple is located in sylvan and serene surroundings. In addition to the daily regular pujas, special pujas and programmes are held during festivals like Navaratri. The temple has a beautiful chariot on which Sri Balaji is taken out during the annual Brahmotsavam festival.

Devotees visit the temple to offer their prayers to Lord Balaji. The temple also serves as a cultural hub and bhajans, keertan, pravachan, deepa puja, kanya puja, and other dharmic programmes are held. Facility is also provided to the visiting pilgrims for performing various samskars like Mundan (tonsuring), Aksharabhyasa (initiation into Education) etc. It is proposed to build a Sankara Matam complex within the temple premises.
