Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Sri Saraswathi Mandir is located on the highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar at Baramullah, in Doda District, Jammu and Kashmir State (Pin: 192114). The temple, dedicated to the Goddess of Learning, is designed in the typical South-Indian style architecture. A mandir to Lord Shiva has also been built adjacent to the Saraswathi Mandir.

As part of its endeavor to bring about National Unity through cultural integration, Their Holinesses Pujyasri Shankaracharya Swamijis of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam have established temples in several states, especially in the remote corners of the country including J&K, Assam and Gujarat.
