15th Dec. - Shrimatam camp reached reached Bala Veda Pathashala, Tozhupedu near Acharapakkam after the visito to Kamakoti Triveni Patashala enroute from Puducherry.. HH Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal was received by the Adhyapaka, Vidyarthis, Pathashala Management and other devotees. After giving darshan, His Holiness performed Trikala Puja. Before leaving the Pathashala, His Holiness inaugurated a Library and visited the entire Pathashala premises and blessed one and all. Enroute to Kanchipuram, His Holiness visited Datta Peetha Ashramam, Achrapakkam Shiva temple and Chatur-Veda Pathashala at Athur before reaching Kanchipuram at 7.30 PM. At the entrance of Kanchipuram, Prasadams from Sri Kamakshi Ambal Temple, Sri Varadaraja Swami Temple & Sri Ekamranathaswamy temple and Purnakumbha Swagatham were offered to His Holiness. The Kanchipuram Nagara Varaverpu committee welcomed His Holiness at Sri Siddhishwara Temple. His Holiness then reached Sri Shankar Math. His Holiness first performed deeparadhana at the Adhishthanams and then gave darshan to waiting devotees. The Yatra, though spanning two weeks, was very significant on account of the Kumbhabhishekam at Tiruvanaikaval and visit & Chandramouleeshwara Puja at Janmasthanams of Kanchi Paramacharya at Villupuram and Sri Periyava at Irulneeki.
