With the blessings of HH Pujyasri Shankaracharya Swamigal of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sarada Navaratri Mahotsavam this Plava Year' will be celebrated at Sri Kamakshi Ambal Devasthanam, Kanchipuram from 5th to 17th October 2021. Special Pujas and alankaram will be performed to Sri Kamakshi Amman. Cultural programmes will be performed every evening as part of the Navaratri celebrations.

The utsavam will commence with Chandi Homam, Angurarpanam and Rakshabandhanam on Tuesday – 5th October ( Purattasi 19). Soorasamharam will take place from 6th to 13th October (Durgashtami). Mahanavami falls on the 14th and on the 15th - Vijayadashami - Teertavari & Navavarana Poorti will take place in the morning and Yagashala Mahapoornahuti will be performed in the evening.

Cultural Programmes will be held as part of the Navaratri Mahotsavam in Kamakshi Ambal temple every day evening. Nitya Veda Parayanam will take place during the Navaratri Utsavam.
