Jayanti Mahotsavam - pada yatra from Orikkai to Kanchi
27-02-2022 On the Jayanti day - 27th Feb. 2022, HH Pujyashri Shankaracharya Swamigal was to visit Shrimatam to perform pada puja at the Adhistanams of HH Pujyashri Mahaswamigal and Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. Much to the surprise and delight of the devotees, His Holiness started walking from the Shrimatam camp at Manimandapam towards Kanchi. The quick pada yatra culminated at Shrimatam. His Holiness offered worship at various Shiva and Ganesha temples dotting the path. A large number of devotees were blessed to join the pada yatra from Orikkai to Kanchi. New Abharanams were offered to the Adhistanams.
