Navaratri performed at Peddapuram
05-10-2022 Navaratri at Peddapuram His Holiness performed Sharan Navaratri at Peddapuram this year. Elaborate arrangements were in place for conducting Srimatam Pujas including Yagashala Pujas. Go Puja, Kanya Puja, Suvasini Puja, Vatu Puja, Rigveda Samhita Havan, Sri Vidya Havans, Chandi Parayanam & Havan, Devi Mahatmyam and Lalitopakhya Parayanams were held. Daily Nadasamarpanam concerts were held. Devotees in large numbers participated and Annadanam was performed for local people. Morning Pujas were from 9 AM to 4 PM and evening Pujas from 8 PM to 12:30. On Mahanavami day Ayudha Puja was held. Vijayadashami After Pujas,Vedarambham was performed with chanting of all Vedas and Vedangams. It was followed with Kalashabhishekam to His Holiness and Prasadams were given to devotees.
In benign presence of His Holiness Sri Shankara Sthapathy S/O Late Sri SM Ganapathy Sthapaty was felicitated with Swarna Kankanam commending his services in traditional temple building & renovation. Recently he had also volunteered in Udayambakkam temple renovation by contributing granite stones.
