With the divine blessings of Pujyasri Shankaracharya Swamigal , Theppotsavam was conducted in the renovated temple tank in Sri #Kanchi #Kamakoti Peetam Kanjikode Shiva Temple, #Kerala yesterday. The renovation was done at the behest of local Kanchi Math temple committee along with Local #Kanjikode Panchayat assistance. The local MLA Sri Prabhakaran inaugurated the Utsava and addressed the gathering. Prasadams from HH Shankaracharya Swamigal was distributed by Sri Anand Ghanapathigal who took keen interest in this Kainkaryam.

It may be recollected that Kanchi Mahaswami had performed Chaturmasyam in Kanjikode in 1930s during his Yatra in Kerela. His Holiness Jagadguru Pujya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal and His Holiness Jagadguru Pujya Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal have visited the #temple and performed Chandramouleeshwara Puja. Plans are on to start a #Veda Pathashala in this place.
