Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji visited the Amava Ram Mandir, a temple located right opposite the newly constructed Ram Mandir at the Ram Janmabhoomi site.

His Holiness went up the roof of the temple that opens up to a beautiful view of the Ram Janmabhoomi site. In an address to a media team, Pujya Shankaracharya Swamiji narrated the connection between Kanchi and Ayodhya  as mentioned in the Lalithopakhyanam.

Pujyasri Acharya addressed a few questions around the proceedings of the upcoming Kumbhabhishekam and conveyed that Bhagavan Sree Ram being the Yagnyasamrakshana Murthy Himself, the Pranaprathishta and Kumbhabhishekam would be performed involving Vedic rituals of the highest order.
