Kal vaitta Vaaram (கல் வைத்த வாரம்) was held with blessings and presence of Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji at Varanasi. Young Vaidiks participating in the Vishwa Shanti Yanga took part in the contest. Contestants who were successful were given special awards. Deeparadhana and avadharaya was performed in the yagashalas, after which Pujya Acharya blessed the vastra daanam to all the ritwiks.
