Shankaracharya Swamiji graced the “गीताभक्ति अमृत महोत्सव\", आळंदी, पुणे, महाराष्ट्र- Geeta Bhakti
Amrit Mahotsav - #Alandi, #Pune
this evening (6th Feb. 2024) and blessed the gathering with Anugraha Bhashanam. Special blessings and
felicitations were offered to Sri Govinddev Giriji on his 75th jayanti utsav in which several Sants and
Sadhus from different states participated. In His Anugraha Bhashan, Pujya #Shankaracharya Swamiji spoke on the divine state of #Maharashtra that is home to several Kshetras of the Shanmatas from
Ganapatyam to Shaivam, and has given birth to several Sants and Sadhus. His Holiness recalled Sri Govinddev
Giriji\'s long spiritual journey and association with Shrimatam, and expressed His happiness that Sri
Govinddev Giriji had taken the Bhagavad Gita to more than a 100 countries making it a Vishwa Gita, and also
having it translated into several languages. Pujya Swamiji stressed that our Vaidik Hindu Dharma is a
unifying factor for people from across the country, provides the Margadarshan for us all to lead Dharmic
lives and that the #BhagavadGita acts as a gateway - a point of entry -for all seekers of our Dharma. His Holiness
recalled how Pujya Kanchi Mahaswamiji had provided the margadarshan for Jnaneshwari to be translated into
Tamil. Several programmes including veda sabha, shastra sabhas, bhajans etc, are being held as part of the
week-long programme.
