Pujya Shankaracharya Swamiji blesses Gita Bhakti Amrut Mahotsav at Alandi - title conferred on Sri Govinddev Giriji

Pujyashri Shankaracharya Swamiji blessed the Geeta Bhakti Amrut Mahotsav this morning at Alandi, near Pune, in Maharashtra. In His Anugraha Bhashan, Pujya Swamiji mentioned that the gathering of saints resembled the Singhast and other Kumbh-melas.
Maharashtra is a land of saints - and the rulers from Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji’s time have been the recipients of blessings of saints - Adi Shankaracharya established the Shanmata commencing with worship of Sri Vinayak - this is the land of Ashta Vinayak -It is a land of adhunik and adhyatmik Vidya (contemporary and traditional education) - several critical editions have been published pertaining to our Santana Dharma from Maharashtra. It is a sethu(bridge) between the North and South - the Marathi rules of Thanjavur have been closely connected with the Kanchi Math.
Our Pujya Paramcharya - Pujyashri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Mahaswamiji even at his advance age in his 80s went on Padayatra for a length of more than 5000 kms traversing through several villages of Maharashtra. He blessed and established the Uttar Chidambaram Nataraj Mandir in Satara- the temple serves as a a symbol of unity with participation of the Governments of Maharashtra, Kerala, Andhra and Tamilnadu. Adi Shankaracharya - inspired feeling of unity with his yatras from Kalady to Kamakhya - Kanchi to Kashi and Kathmandu. Sri Govinddev Giriji had the blessings of Pujya Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji at - Paithan also called Pratishta Nagari - from there to Bala Ram pratishta has been a great spiritual journey.
In our dharma, we have our faith everywhere - in nature - in cows, trees, Teertha Kshetras and especially in vigraha & Murti pujan. On Jan 22nd - Subakrut - Poushya Maas - Shukla Dwadashi- Samovar -murti Chaitanya was instilled.

Adi Shankaracharya in Bhajagovindam says गेयं गीता नाम सहस्रं - Geyam gita nama sahasranam - we must imbibe the Bhagavad Gita and chant Vishnu Sahasranamam.
With the blessings of Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Sawmiji and with his Margadarshan and Prerana, Sri Govinddev Giri Maharaj has dedicated himself to four types of work - spreading the message of Bhagavad Gita across the world, Veda Raksha through establishing Veda Patashalas, taking our works into various swadeshi languages, and instilling Desh Bhakti - Swardharm ka Samrakshan .
We have faced 1000 years of difficulty, and the dharmic seeds being sown now, will eventually bloom into a Vatavruksh (Banyan Tree) -
Yesterday, the satsang held on the banks of Indrani river with Gita- Gnaneswari Satsang resembled the prayers held on the banks of Ganga and Yamuna. We are happy to confer the title on Sri Govinddev Giriji on this occasion and convey our Blessings.
After the Anugraha Bhashan, Pujya Ramesh Bhai Ojha read out the citation and the title Swadharma Swaarajya Seva Ratnam was presented to Sri Govinddev Giriji. A memento with names of His Holiness and Govinddev Giriji inscribed in Gold and title of Swadharma Swarajya Seva Ratnam inscribed in precious stones was given. Sri Chidanand Saraswati ji, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhada Sri Swami Avdeshanand Giriji Maharaj, Sri Baba Ramdev, Sadhvi Bhagavati Saraswati, Acharya Balakrishna, various other saints, sadhus, sadhvis, were present. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Sri Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM of Maharashtra Sri Devendra Fadnavis, Ministers of Maharashtra, and various eminent persons from all walks of life participated.
