Pujya Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal visit to Ayodhya

His Holiness Pujya Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal visited Ayodhya and blessed the Yagashala Pujas and Prana Pratishtha rituals in Ram Mandir, Rama Janma Bhoomi Kshetra. Arriving at Ayodhya 10:45 AM, His Holiness was received at the airport and went straight to Deva Kali Mandir. The Deva Kali Mandir is the Kula Devatha of Bhagawan Sri Rama. After performing Pujas there His Holiness arrived at Shankar Math, Pramodvan. Sri Krishna Gopalji received His Holiness at Airport and accompanied till Shankar Math where he was joined with Sri Bhaiyya ji Joshi. His Holiness performed Kalashabhishekam at Sri Rama Sannidhi in the Math where Rama Shadakshari Havans were held. His Holiness Pujya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal has consecrated the Rama Sannidhi in the Shankara Math. A new website for Ayodhya Shankar Math www.kanchimuttayodhya.in was launched.

At Rama Janma Bhumi

His Holiness arrived at Rama Janma Bhumi and was received at the Yagnyashala with Purna Kumbha Swagatham by Sri Govinddevji Maharaj, Treasurer, Ramajanma Bhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, Sri Ganeshwar Dravid and Sri Lakshmikanth Dikshit along with other Veda Vidwans. His Holiness went around the Yagnyashala and offered flowers in all the Kalashas. Later His Holiness came to the central Kalasha and amidst chanting of Mantras performed Harathi. His Holiness chanted special Mantras on Ram Bhagawan and then proceeded to the Mandir.

Just before entering, coconut was broken in the first step of the Mandir followed with two more coconuts in front of first two Sthambs which were inscribed with Ganesh ji. Later His Holiness went inside the Mahamantap, Ardha Mandap and then entered the Garbha Gruha.

Sri Govinddevji Maharaj Treasurer and Sri Champat Rai, Secretary of Trust received His Holiness. The Netronmeelan commenced followed by Nyas of the Vigraha. His Holiness performed the Nyas and presented Special Abharanams to Bhagawan. Then, His Holiness was given Shawl and other honours in the Ardha Mandapam where Vaidikas were felicitated. His Holiness then came back to Yagnyashala and then returned back to Airport.

In his message captured on his way to Mandir, His Holiness talked about the ongoing rituals led by Sri Ganeshwar Sastri Dravid and Sri Lakshmi Kanth Dikshit and about the upcoming momentous occasion of Pran Pratishtha. In this very auspicious occasion His Holiness prayed for Suraksha, Subhiksha and Suvidhya for all people with blessings of Bhagawan Ram
