Pujya Kanchi Shankaracharya Swamiji performed Nadi Snanam on the auspicious occasion of the commencement of Dakshinayana Punya Kaalam at the #Kalpāthy River, #Chāthapuram, #Kerala on 17 July 2026. His Holiness performed the Sankalpa at 7:55 p.m., followed by the Snanam at 8:00 p.m.
Thereafter, Pujya #Shankaracharya Swamiji performed Anushtana on the banks of the sacred river. As the river flowed in serene majesty, an equally unbroken stream of Vedic mantras and stotras filled the air, their sacred cadence mirroring its timeless current and suffusing the atmosphere with profound sanctity.
Following the Anushtana, Sambhavana was distributed to the assembled Vaideekas. The observances concluded with Deeparadhana offered to the river. #kamakoti
