Sri Kamakhsi Kalyana Mandapam,
Kanchipuram
Dear Devotees,
Vedas are the basis of conduct in our life. Our younger generation seems to moving away from the path of Sanathana Dharma laid down by our Vedas due to the impact of western educational methods. Even their thinking seems to be diverted from guidelines of Vedas which are the foundation of our life style. The situation is changing so fast that our younger generation may not even get a chance to know our culture, our belief and our code of conduct. It is the duty of each and every one of us to change this.
To prevent our future generation from swaying away from our culture our Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal and Sri Sri Sankara Vijayendra Swamigal have been initiating various activities on different fronts.
As part of the ongoing effort a camp for training the young men (brahmacharis and gruhasthas) in the age group of 18 to 35 in the methods of Sanathana Dharma has been organised. With a view to facilitate participation by students and professionals it has been decided to conduct the camp for two full days.
In this camp one day is allotted for explaining duties mentioned in the Taittriya Upanishad and the next is allotted to explain how these could be performed. The method of performing Sandhya vandana will also be demonstrated. In addition all the doubts etc could also cleared.
