16-11-2023 Vijaya Yatra Updates - Camp at Prayagraj (16 to 23 Nov.)- highlights - Part -1 16 Nov. 2023- Darshan at Vindhyavasini & arrival at Prayagraj Pujya Shankaracharya Swamiji arrived at Prayag on 16/11/2023 late in the night after darshan and Pujas at Vindhyavasini Mandir. Vindhyavasini Mandir is located in Mirzapur Dist and about 75 kms from Varanasi. It is an ancient Shakti Peetham and
finds mention in Lalitha Sahasranama Stotram. Pujya Shankaracharya Swamiji performed Pujas and then visited a Veda Pathashala run by an Alumni of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Kashi Veda Pathashala and blessed the Vidyarthis. Then His Holiness started towards Prayagraj and reached at 9:30 PM. His Holiness was received by Shri Ashok Vajpayee Ex Minister, his son Shri Harshvardhan Vajpayee & devotees. Camp was scheduled at the residence of the Vajpayees at Minto Park on the Yamuna side of the Sangam area. Though Prayagraj is the famous Sangam area, the local Pandits mentioned that during Karthika Masam it was auspicious to stay on the banks of Yamuna.
